Niukka is Finnish for “meager,” not in a negative sense, but as a reflection of intentional simplicity. The Niukka 20L backpack features a streamlined, minimalist design making it compact, clean, and fully functional with multiple external attachment points that allow the pack to scale up when needed. The 20-liter main compartment opens fully with a clamshell zipper for easy access and includes a hydration bladder sleeve and two internal mesh pockets for organization. A full-size zippered front pocket provides space for bulkier items like a jacket or poncho. Compression straps, PALS webbing, and webbing loops on the front, sides, and bottom make it easy to attach additional gear. Comfort features include a padded back panel with a removable closed-cell foam pad, contoured shoulder straps mounted on steel D-rings for improved fit, and an adjustable, removable sternum strap.
