A modern take on a combat-proven classic, the Chicom Chest Rig is a lightweight and versatile gear platform inspired by the iconic design used since the 1940s and widely known from the Vietnam War era.
Designed for urban operations, CQB, training, and reconnaissance, it offers a minimalist solution for carrying essential equipment in tight spaces where mobility and accessibility matter. This basic version includes three magazine pouches with hook & loop flap closures, compatible with AK and AR magazines. Flaps can be easily removed and replaced with pull tabs (included). The Chicom rig is modular and expandable, featuring MOLLE/PALS panels on both the inside and outside for attaching additional gear such as grenade pouches, utility pouches, or cargo pockets. You can expand mag capacity from three to five and mount a first aid kit or small pouch underneath. An internal flat pocket, padded with soft loop Velcro, provides space for documents or VIS system inserts. Simple, functional, and ready to adapt, the Chicom Chest Rig delivers reliable performance in any mission setup.
