The RED swivel detachable lock is a reliable, emergency quick-release solution designed to allow users to swiftly detach from their weapon during critical situations, such as emergency egress or when entangled. The patented RED Swivel, also known as the Rapid Emergency Detachment Swivel, replaces traditional push-button sling swivels with an intuitive pull-knob release mechanism. It seamlessly fits into any standard push-button socket, as well as inset sockets in popular handguards and stocks, the Burnsed Socket, and the Rail Mounted Push Button Socket, providing versatility and ease of use across different setups.

The Patented RED™ Swivel can be released with a direct pull on the sphere-conical knob, offering a simpler alternative to the "push-pull" action of standard push-button swivels. It requires only 7 pounds of force to install or release the swivel, and accidental releases are minimized by the shape and angle of the knob. The design ensures that a pull of more than 15 degrees off-axis will not release the connection, reducing the risk of accidental release when encountering vehicles, doorways, other gear, or brush.

The RED Swivel is particularly valuable for individuals who work with a rifle over or near water or in other conditions where sling entrapment is a significant risk. It can be paired with the Burnsed Socket or a Universal Wire Loop with a push button (available separately) to create a quick 2- to 1-point sling. The 1.00" RED is recommended for the standard Vickers Sling (which has 1.25-inch webbing), while the 1.25-inch RED is suitable for broader sling webbing (such as 1.5-inch webbing), offering more flexibility and slides if used with 1.25-inch sling webbing.
